I want my money back!

I am a victim of Deep Sea Cosmetics (Adore store in Tyrone Mall, Saint Petersburg).

I have returned the unopened products with my husband (recorded it on video) the day after and was told, NO REFUNDS! I have attempted to return everything within 30 minutes of purchase, on 1/31/23 but the store closed.

When I got home, I immediately called my bank to cancel the transaction and initiated a dispute.

Money loss: $3,691.50

I was first sold an anti wrinkle around the eyes cream for $267.50 and then manipulated by a different super friendly salesman who asked if I was interested in a much better skin care system (red light-Perfectio) that I can use for my entire face and neck, not just around my eyes and he started using red light on one side of my face, stating that he could already see the difference and that I needed to consider his option instead of an expensive face lift surgery after which he proceeded to go down on the price every time I said that I wasnt interested.

He insisted that I deserve to get something nice for myself and that I was like his mom and wanted me to enjoy this system and feel good without trying facelift surgery because I was so nice and he liked me since I was from Europe and he was really chatty and kind, learned that I was a nurse and about my battle with cancer.

He kept offering generous compliments.

To cut the story short, I ended up paying $3,691.50, (never received the first cream but a few free creams and even an after shave for my husband), said yes and just wanted them to leave me alone while feeling pressured to buy the items.

I didnt see a sign that said no refund at the time of purchase.

My bank upheld the scam shops no refund policy.

Now they have my money and the merchandise.

I fell victim to their sales tactics and they refuse to resolve the issue.

I deem this enforcement of the policy to be baseless and unethical. They are preying on vulnerable individuals.

This business is a BIG scam and they are now using a different technique to sell their extremely expensive products: instead of being pushy as before, they befriend you so you cant say no!

I want my money back!

Agree received same high pressure sales pitch exactly from pushy sales lady and man at Citrus Park Mall in Tampa. They prey upon a certain age group and keep talking asking questions regarding job and keep pushing products and the Perfectio product.

Anyone reading this, beware of this company as they use fake pictures of people with wrinkles and then show people without wrinkles claiming the Perfection device takes all wrinkles away. These pictures can be photo shopped and it is a SCAM!! Do not give your credit card and or money for any products. The products they say are labeled from a company called ADORE and bank statements show the purchase is from DEEP SEA COSMETICS.

They steal your money and hope that you will be a continued buyer that will constantly keep purchasing their products. My sister is a medical skin aesthetician and says 100% this company is not only overpricing all of the products and you can find comparable products that get same results on Amazon and at drug stores.

Any company that are in malls and that use pushy sales tactics most likely are SCAM companies. BUYER BEWARE!

I was in a mall in Brandon fl I tried the product n I said it was really warm the sales lady said that was to be expected because of the oxygen rising to the surface and the collagen. So I purchase it by the time I got home my face was on fire swelling and red. When I went back to get a refund they refused n told Me they have 100 other products for me to try but wouldnt give a refund n take my unused product back. He then told me I would need a drs letter stating Im allergic to all the products and that he would consider it. One word HIPPA. I couldnt believe that. So now Im out the money and stuck with a product I cant use . No consumer protection. I even offered to pay a restocking fee and they could keep the product but I feel that I should get some sort of compensation. I uploaded a picture of my epi pen so that you would see Im not exaggerating I suffer from allergies. Im very sensitive thats one of the reasons I got it because they stated they were all natural and hypoallergenic. But I still had a bad reaction. And also they was no visual no refund info at the kiosk. And I wasnt told about the no refund or only exchange policy.

My daughter is autistic. They have preyed on her twice now. Once they get ahold of her, they spew their lies and peddle these useless products. Causing her to spend her entire savings. They should be banned from selling their crap. My child thought they were just being nice to her...nope took her for over 1500 bucks.

Agree horrible company for preying on hard working class people to pay top dollar for products you can buy at drug stores and on Amazon for under $100. Beware of this company. Had same pushy sale type of people at Citrus Park Mall talk me into buying their products that don't work.

Shake down

I was in my local mall when a lovely group of young people came up telling me they were from Isreal and they had a cosmetic product made with Dead Mud. Being a Follower Of Jesus Christ they already had my interest. I listen to the young lady and let her apply her product on my face then removed it with a magnet. This young woman started telling me about her points and was going to give me free nail care kits for me and my friends and family. Five hundred dollars later I went home and tried the DEAD SEA MUD !!!! I starting removing it with this little magnet and boy did it work. It left a greenish-yellow oil on my face. I got to thinking Magnets don't remove mud, magnets remove iron. It took me days to get little bits of iron off my face. Then I got scared of what I might have put on my face! I remember this young lady laying my receipt down with her finger over the balance. Then at this point, another lady joins in to take my picture with both of these young ladies. I went online and discovered there is a large network of these people bought in from other countries selling bad problems using high-pressure tacks. Please beware I am worried about the product I used and I feel so bad reading all the stories about other people being taken advantage of. I know a lot of you are going to read this after the fact, Im so sorry, but I did feel better know I was not alone. People like this are trained to hustle unsuspecting people. They have no conscious and seem to take pleasure in what they are doing.

Angry

I was stopped in the mall by a "rep" she was aggressive. I was on my way to work. I work in healthcare. The products demonstrated on me did work amazing. I declined 3 times. She would not allow me to step away, which I understand is a sales tactic. I did not want to spend the money, but the products SHE USED were impressive. What I paid $300 for is NOT THE SAME PRODUCTS. I WAS DECEIVED AND CHEATED OUT OF HARD EARNED MONEY. I WANT A REFUND

Deep Sea Cosmetics - Complaint
Too aggressive, pushy, HE (Nick) promises all this free stuff then charged for it plus overcharged. I will take responsibility for signing the receipt for $3,000 but the credit card was charged $3,262.50...We are elderly, veterans and law enforcement which made him very nervous. I have turned this into the BBB and will contest all the charges unless I hear from you. Of course we were told he was the owners son, promised free treatment for all services at a spa in Cesars Palace in Las Vegas when we said we were going there. I am also thinking of filing a complaint with the Colorado State Fair re: that booth and the people working there. Joseph/Sherry Carricato email address is nanandretti@***.com He also said if not satisfied bring it back and receipt says no refunds....I have read the complaints regarding the scandel about Israels deep sea products which has to do with your company. The internet is full of reports re: scams, ripoff's Lawsuits and Fraud re: Deep Sea Cosmetics. This is a shame....

Not listened to by sales lady.

After Noa put cream under my eyes, it looked like I had 2 black eyes. She kept her sales speech going when I told her there was no money in my account and my husband would have to agree to buy it. She said she would give me one of the items free if I bought the other.

Same thing happened to me. The salesperson “gave” me one item and I paid $200 for another.

I couldn’t get away from the “pushy” salesman at the Mall in SC.

who kept offering deals while the scrub cream was being applied to the back of my hand. I am a senior and felt I was targeted.

Too aggressive salesperson

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

At Tyrone Mall in St. Petersburg Fla.

My friend and I were just shopping and was approached by a some guy who was nice at first, but it was apparent that he was too disingenuous to my taste. I've see this kind of tactic before, but it never works. Appear nice but then do the hard sell afterwards. Not in this day and age.

Doesn't work that way anymore. Offer one thing, but then try to add extra products to purchase. Nice try but not a good idea. Products are too expensive to begin with and trying to add more is ridiculous.

He wouldn't let us go when we said we weren't interested, but we did have to catch a bus.

True remark.

This guy needs to work on his salesmanship in order to get more people to buy their products. Maybe their products are good, but not at the expense of alienating their customers to begin with.

This was a scam

I was at the mall with my friend, minding my business when some man named Chris shoved some lotion into her hands. He then proceeded to continue placing items in our hands even though we politely said we were not interested. I eventually agreed to buy something but did not have the money to after tax so I told him I would get money and come back. He told me no that he would make a deal with me and give me something else. I told him i would rather just come back later with money to get what I wanted. Chris would not hand me my money back. I spent another 10 minutes asking for my money back. He persisted in trying to force me to buy stuff. It was a very bad experience and I have now wasted $30 (and the change he did not give me back).

You need to learn to say NO. And repeat as often as is necessary. Anything placed into your hands should have been thrown back at him, overhand, like a baseball pitcher.

Way too pushy and expensive

Approached at mall in Arlington, VA (outside of Washington DC). I've been using the eye serum and syringe for 2 weeks but don't see any change.

They threw in the salt scrub for $0. I paid over $250 for the syringe and serum which I'm sure is way too much but people pay that much for LaMer and this is more product. I won't buy this stuff again but I feel stupid for falling for any of it. My friend bought the face and neck stuff/mask and swears by it.

I've seen her after several weeks and have to admit the product does make her neck and face look better.

But, I don't like the sales tactics at all and I've read articles from Israel about how this company recruits young people after their Army service so they can make money for higher education. The poor young people are scammed by the company with poor work conditions and less money earned than promised.

Like many others, I was in the mall. Jefferson mall in Lou KY.

I was approached by a young good looking gentleman named Thomas. He was very personable, funny, and perceptive. He demonstrated his products n made his pitch. There were only 2products that I was interested in buying.

The eye serum n face cream, but as a sales person its his job 2get me 2buy more. Then again as grown ADULT all i have 2do is say NO! The more I said no the more "gifts" I kept receiving. When it was over with I purchased my 2items n walked away w 9items total.

Thomas took the time 2expain how 2use the products n wrote on the boxes my am n pm regiment. I have used the products religiously since I got them n I couldn't b happier w the results!

I have had zero side effects n all of my products were in flawless condition. Thank u Thomas
